@aeroburge It kinda depends. I'm not a big fan of his Mai/Athena (top). I like Shinkiro's interpretations of those characters.

Some more amazing pieces from Eisuke Ogura. His influence on the current KOF art direction is very apparent, I think.

One of Eisuke Ogura's best works is "Memories of Stray Wolves", a 20 minute video splicing together game clips with a new motion comic illustrated by Ogura. Takes place during Mark of the Wolves & features characters from earlier games like Richard Meyer, Duck King, and Blue Mary

Shinkiro is great for defining these character, but let's give credit as well to Eisuke Ogura. He's been with SNK since 1996 & has worked his way from doing small demo graphics to promo artwork to main illustrator and now creative director of KOFXV.
