Most people don't like the rough xerox method of animation that Disney used throughout the 60s and 70s, but I actually really like it because it’s like experiencing the animator’s personal drawings in motion. Smooth lines are overrated.
Madoka Ayukawa is perfect - we weren't robbed of anything. https://t.co/4lM2vmaYFm
"Well actually, Trigun was a manga first"
Yeah, and Yoshimatsu adapted the characters from that manga into his own style for the animation. That's why they are two completely different art styles. Do you get it?
I don't know when marketing departments decided fighting games can't have more than 1 character on the cover, but I hate it. https://t.co/nFpUAaBWiI
There was sometimes a token "kid in a wheelchair" in some childrens' cartoons or shows, but they usually felt patronizing. Oracle was cool and sexy, like "oh, you can still be those things even if you're in a wheelchair". That's important.
I spent a good portion of my childhood in a wheelchair, so I was pretty limited in what I could do(mostly stuff on the computer). I collected any comic with Oracle in it, because it felt good to see someone make a strength out of a disability. Totally invaluable representation. https://t.co/bwgJdGtHIA
