When you realise Godzilla 2014 was released 8 years ago.

Happy 58th anniversary to Mothra vs. Godzilla!

Great action, music, story, characters etc! Pretty much everything about the film is great though it’s ending is a bit anti-climatic. This film is also the last in the Showa era to feature Godzilla as a full antagonist.

Gamera has been around for almost 60 years and he’s always fought enemies alone. Though I do enjoy his lone guardian status, I think Gamera teaming up with another kaiju to face a greater threat would be an interesting dynamic to explore in a future film. Thoughts?
