There’s so many ways to bring a monster to life. Suitmation, stopmotion, puppetry and CGI just to name a few. Is there a combination of methods you like most or just one in particular?

8. Gamera Vs. Zigra (1971)
Poor pacing, lacklustre action and a boring human story is what you’ll get with this hot turd. Even the film’s ridiculous moments don’t save it. It is sloppy even by Showa Gamera standards. Skip it

Monster Planet: meh, it’s alright but lots of wasted potential

COTEOB: basically the previous film again but worse in every way

Planet Eater: interesting ideas but poorly executed, being the best of the trilogy isn’t much of an achievement

Godzilla movies I watched most as a kid. In the UK we didn’t have many Godzilla movies on DVD so I had to watch a lot of them from other countries in our DVD region (region 2).
