ON TOP OF THAT, Goblin and Spidey already find out that Norman's plan failed! Goblin is annoyed it doesn't work and Peter is like "Neat!"

Flash had no reason to come up and explain everything in this moment while he's mostly drained! He's only there so the writer can kill him!

Flash is literally only on the roof to show that Goblin failed in trying to kill Peter's friends with the slivers of Carnage symbiote he pulled out of them. He's just randomly on the roof to explain it, even though we already saw him healing them earlier!

ASM 800 comes out. And right in the beginning, Flash learns Peter's identity in the background because Silk is an idiot for saying his name out loud. It's not even a big moment for Flash as it 100% should be, it's just "Oh yeah, heard her say your name. So you're Peter, huh?"

So we get Flash as a hero again and it's a lot of fun! Even gets to play a small part in the Venomized mini!

But in total including Venom Inc, we only get to see him like this for 14 issues across everything. And after ASM 799 where he doesn't defeat the goblin for... reasons...

And then salvation! Flash gets a new chance to be a symbiote hero as Agent Anti-Venom! (the story sacrifices Andi as Mania in the process and that sucks, but that's its own conversation)
The story has very mixed reactions, but Flash is back! With some cool scenes with Brock!

After that, Flash doesn't show up much, just as a rare background character here and then, basically not in the books.

So we gotta start with the fact that Flash was done INCREDIBLY dirty after Venom Spaceknight finished. We finally get him reunited with Andi back on earth in his classic look, and then... He loses the symbiote for no reason so we can have the worst Venom ever: Lee Price

Just when I thought I couldn't love @jedmackay's writing any more, he slaps me in the face with this King in Black: Spider-Man one shot. From the previews I was concerned it was gonna be an ad for Reptil's book, but he delivers a beautiful story that perfectly understands Spidey
