why do modern day art style hates nostril so much?
they look like lord voldemort now
2000s is the hardest anime era style to pinpoint orz, there's so much between angular ones used in friendships n' magic shounen animu, the large eyed moe ones to the soft glossy ones in galge
early 2000s, the era of moeshit....
(jk, but yea, everything's so glossy, soft and shiny at this era. The middle one style looks like a typical 2000s VN(?) while rightmost is the most sparkly-est gyaru-est shoujo manga style I usually found in nakayoshi etc at that era)
is the mid 90s slayer/saber marionette art style the way westerners see manga art style as whole?
80s to early 90s was funny af. It was mostly cute/round looking during the mid 80s, but then it seems like most early 90s anime I found was edgy to some degree,
the art style is so angular/triangle looking
sometimes I wanna make "trendy animu art style through the era" chart with my OC as example, but idk if i could nail it perfectly
I'm not an animu historian, just some old art style weeb
