I feel like you can fix the "muddy" feel with different colored lineart
black lineart makes it bad to look at
"USUALLY"
use it right, and it makes your artwork looks gritty like 90s OVAs
bunch of art tutorials always warns "don't shade with black!!! It makes the whole artwork muddy and your characters look dead!"
but I feels like it depends on what the artwork's mood is. what's wrong having the entire art looks "dead" when it's for horrific apocalypse story?
@SayaDoesStuff "wow it looks like ZZ"
because it was supposed to be ZZ at one point lmao (but they can't deviate too far from previous gundam so they dumped it in hot space 0083)
last night, I had a bad dream of me browsing through twatter, and found a post of edg*eworth saying "I have a case of clvssy fever", along with the pic of phoenix cosplaying as moe the clown from turnabout big top
I need to touch grass more so I don't have "dreams" like this
bad news
the hot space cowboys april fools doujin project is back
(I gave up on getting CSP ex, I'll do everything even the spread pages on PRO)
