I wish they added cybele plugin on SMT imagine fan server
I'll turn my character into haman karn for a day
gotta admit the costume designs for a flash dress up games looks so cool and there's a lot variation to the shapes
*unstated purpose : ....their clothes are so scanty *sighs* *unzips pants*
when I was a kid, I used to frequent those dress-up flash game sites, particularly the "Fantasy" dress up genre section
too bad the priginal sites goes RIP and it was archived in a seedy ad-riddled websites
well now you know why I like drawing fairies/humanoid monsters
6.)final hell is to export it ...There's an export function in ase but I'm so dumb at using it, so I assembled the sprites manually
RPG maker had a specific grid. Unless you're using multiframe script, you need to trim sprites that's too big or else they'll screw up in game
5.) animating the extra costumes is like hell, sometimes they look cluttered enough, or moves weirdly, or you accidentally replaced an entire layer
4.) this ain't finished yet but yea, afterwards you start to fill the details on the basic shape. It's painful when the OG design got a lot of details that's hard to translate to mini pixels (my fault)
(that's why kaneko would make the pixel first then draw their full art later)
3.) After making the base animation. I started to draw the basic shapes (the black leotard, stocking and gloves she wears) for every animation frames
2.) I would then make their sprite "move" by making them bounce (like the 2nd pic, check the onion skin effect. That's the previous layer)
then add more to the base like arms and leg
