I like the Manga design of GATE's Alnus hill more as compared to the Anime one
It's a lot smaller and more realistic for a forward base and its a lot more authentic a rendition of the Star-fort concept it's based on
@FaXistic From a historical perspective, this is actually fascinating because that's the exact issue revealed in a lot of the wars of the mid-late 19th century.
One famous example is probably Von Bredows Death Ride which that saw over 50% casualties to french rifle fire

@gigabilly Late 19th century artillery moment 😅
Honestly, that's on the AI since when they have them, you can pretty easily neutralize their effectiveness with terrain and cavalry.
I think it's a pretty good rendition all the same, especially with it fixing a lot of jank of Napoleon
Post a cover of a great game. This is probably some of the most fun I've had in a Total War game. I'm kind of partial to gunpowder warfare and while FotS is missing a few things, this is probably the most refined I've seen it https://t.co/i2LQ2CgYtd

Just kidding
In my opinion, whichever one gives the option of all around protection.
I think the Testudo is closest to that by default, but I'd take the Phanlanx if it was allowed to form a square
