Just got back from a holiday trip with some friends (hence my absence for about a week),
But I've also somehow managed to catch the flu in the process.
A bit tragic, I wanted to work on some art inspired by a homebrew tabletop that my friends, and I ran during the trip
"Oh... you're hopeless..."
A bit late to the trend on this one
Hope you don't mind ~😉
@5eba9633a81b4fa @A5ZkiVzqKbrPSoe That would depend on the battleship. Some battleships have their powder magazines above their shell rooms.
@sovietoad @TennoAetos Even just slightly staggering the firing of a couple of them out of the stack goes a long way
You don't always need to model each individual soldier, but adding just a little irregularity can bring a lot of dynamism to it
I like the Manga design of GATE's Alnus hill more as compared to the Anime one
It's a lot smaller and more realistic for a forward base and its a lot more authentic a rendition of the Star-fort concept it's based on
@FaXistic From a historical perspective, this is actually fascinating because that's the exact issue revealed in a lot of the wars of the mid-late 19th century.
One famous example is probably Von Bredows Death Ride which that saw over 50% casualties to french rifle fire
@Kagerou2137 @Valkyriedownbad @_Darthsoldier_ Fairies I believe...
