One of my background papers from yesterday, today I have been working with it a little for a current project.

I made a lot of background papers yesterday... some of them wanted to be things of their own. I will sift through them today and decide whether I can bend them to my will or let some of them go their own way.

Experimenting with some background creation ideas and got a bit carried away...

My very first experiments with liquid charcoal, we are definitely at the ‘getting to know you’ stage here... it has some lovely qualities I think, but working back into once it’s dry was harder than I expected. I also need some more robust paper...
