King Arthur's Knights were once rescued from a terrible fate when they became lost in a fog drenched swamp travelling back towards Camelot, by a strange white lion, a creature of the fairy folk of Wales, the Tylwyth Teg. Art self, for Wrexham folktales.

In Wales the fairy folk are called Tylwyth teg, and have a habit of leading mortals astray one way or another. Sometimes in the shape of a Draenog (hedgehog) there are many tales of fairy gifts becoming worthless, and of our human greed betraying us yet again.
