wanted to do another test on really coiled hair, i couldn't figure out how to get the curves generated by the new hair system to coil nicely, so i just instanced spirals on the points instead, definitely needs some work🤔
ok so... @Blender 3.2 experimental hair tools are fucking insane.
like WHAT?? this took minutes to make. i can't even. this is a screengrab out of my viewport (eevee)
Nightingale looks super cool, i'm into the victorian stuff, but i also hope someday someone walks it back just a couple decades to the 1830s so we can get the truly unhinged silhouettes of the romantic era into a video game look at this shit lmao
from the way back machine, more early jinx sketches from her development~
good morning!🌤️ here's an elf!
was practicing hair with curves, i think i'd do them a little differently next time, but it was fun!

Folks seemed to find the glowy shit tutorial helpful, I was thinking of making a few tutorials focused on painting elemental FX, like fire/lightening/water etc. Kind of like the examples here (done for Dauntless) let me know if there is something specific you'd like to see! 👀
Now paint whatever shapes you want to be glowy. I made this flame with the airbrush and a hard round smudge brush~ it's important just to use white here, colour will be added in the next step :D
Been working on this a bit each evening this week, I wrote a short comic script about these gals and I'm going to try to illustrate it, though my sequential skills are quite rusty! wish me luck!😅💖
