Doing sort of a #digitober this year, focus is getting better at painting ofc. And the idea is that speedpaintings will help me achieve that goal, little by little. Painting with time limit of 1h forces me to stop focusing on details and simplifying shapes.

And these weird ones, first attempts of self portrait with color. Was too caught up with RL detailed pencil drawings working on the eyes too much and never finishing (closing) the image cos I didn’t like finished stuff. Alot/nothing can happen in 10years I guess

As someone who from time to time tries to draw/paint/create I mostly end up not liking my own stuff. Just go like bleugh, idk MAYBE from staring at it for too long. This might be common. Anyways. I have to say though. This small part of a portrait I did I’m forever in love with💕
