Oguro; “Did the two of you invite all the people we see as animation supervisors and genga producers to participate in animating Mob Psycho 100?”
Kameda; “Mob Psycho 100’s sakuga team flowed in pretty thick from Space Dandy.”
Kameda; “Matsumoto Taiyou-san’s manga, ‘GoGo Monster’, has a boy with bobbed hair in it. His hair appears incredibly 3D. I thought to myself, ‘Ah, maybe this is the effect I’m after’, so I drew Mob-kun using this bobbed-haired boy as a reference.”
Oguro; “The way Mob Psycho 100 looks is pretty different from standard mainstream anime, thanks to those blurry shadows.”
Kameda; “I think that’s also thanks to ONE’s character designs. For example, eyes not having highlights, just dark eyes.
