Taking sunflowers home from the market 🌻🌻🌻
For this past week's #colour_collective #tomatoJay
Sunflower festival season is starting! 🙌
@_eloenne Hi I'm Kellie! I live in Virginia and I love doing artwork highlighting animal education, sharing specific species and bits of basic information about them. Other than that I like whimsical, magical, and quaint vibes. 💕
#SharkWeek Day 5: Sharptooth Houndshark (Near Threatened)
AKA Sweet William, haha, and the Spotted Gully Shark, this inshore species can grow up to 5.58ft long. They occur in at least one marine reserve but there are no specific conversation actions in place. #sharkweek2019
#SharkWeek Day 4: Bonnethead Shark (Least Concern)
A type of hammerhead shark, the bonnethead has a smaller shovel-shaped head. The females are larger than the males. Interestingly, part of their diet includes seagrasses. They are targeted for their meat. #Sharkweek2019
#SharkWeek Day 3: Salmon Shark (Least Concern)
Salmon sharks are endothermic, which allows them to maintain a body temperature above the temperature of the water.
This was inspired by @FishOceansCAN capturing footage of a salmon shark interacting with a log.

#SharkWeek Day 2: Lemon Shark (Near Threatened)
They are known for their yellow-ish color. Interestingly, they are hosts to many parasites
Threats include being caught commercially on longlines. They are eaten in the United States, and Central and South America. #sharkweek2019
