Fab mostly wordless for discussion with young kids about Moles move beneath a lush green meadow & completely transform it into something hideous, with a simple splotch of grass left behind. Hope is seen in the book's final endpaper.

Ma's taken-Hensel & Gretel take ninjutsu lessons. Pa's taken-they go after the fox! Things look bad when they're captured & about to be chicken-pot-pied. But Gretel jimmies the lock & the great showdown begins. Great fun book!!

This is one of my favourite books to read at this time--funny and the beat/rhythm based on the iconic 'I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly' song is spot-on perfect. My K students love it too! Author-Alison Jackson Illustrator-Judith Byron Schachner

This wonderful book pays great homage to the original Frankenstein movie. Grouch, Grump & 2-headed Gloom'n'Doom can't agree who's the biggest, baddest monster...so they create one instead. As soon as it says "Dank you," their plan goes off the rails.
