I thought I’d show some of my works-in-progress.
Day 4 is “bright.”
Initially from the #scbwiArtober prompt “broom” and wanting to play around with effect I got with “full moon,” I thought of night owls 🦉…up and starting their day at moonrise.

And then it really felt like there were multiple conversations happening.
Is it done?
I’m not sure.
Or does it need even more creatures congregating in the moonlit sea?

BUT generally you shouldn’t show ppl smoking in #kidlitart, so I played around with pipes that blew bubbles, but ultimately ditched that idea and gave my sailor some noisy crow friends.
…an octopus drawing with 🐙ink, “crows” was another prompt, and for “full moon” I did a sailor on the sea at night.
So I combined my octopus and my sailor and added a whale… so the spread started to feel more like scene.
