I got my first mean #comment last week! I actually feel pretty lucky that the comments were just kinda mean & not outright cruel. So don't worry, I didn't actually spend any time weeping over this, but I did have a lot of fun processing how I felt about it through this #comic! 😁

I haven't been able to teach my class, but that's given me time to work toward a few of my own #art goals! I want to try adding a more painterly flair to my work, so I tried more suggestions of detail with the #BarnSwallow, where the #Parakeets are more meticulous.

I'm Khiori and I didn't know that #PortfolioDay was a thing until a few minutes ago! In the spirit of what's left of the day, here are two of my recent favorites, a progress shot of the mural I'm working on (biggest piece yet!) & a pencil-sketch preview of an upcoming watercolor.

Update: My art show was #cancelled due to covid-19!
I was sad because it would've been my 1st #artshow, but I know that we need to limit the spread of the virus & I understand why it had to close. #Stayhealthy!

This morning I'm finishing up the video for one of my favorite #mural concepts, the Celestial Lady! Do you remember this painting? I have mixed feelings for her, but I love the concept. I'll release the #video around noon today. 😁
