According to Egawa Sensei's post on Facebook the 1st chapter of Golden Boy is a rehash of BE FREE!'s 12th volume. He states that based on the eroticism, computers future and Kintaro / Akira personality.

This also happened with Moriyama Megumi. She bears a strong resemblance to the Producer / Onna Producer.
