Barnok Sharpot originated as a Dungeons and Dragons dwarf, but in terms of a modern day setting, he is ex-military, deciding to settle for a simple lifestyle of gardening and grounds keeping. He usually gets leaves and twigs in his beard.

Strom Cestry: A D&D Halfling Wizard, home imprisoned after lashing out against a friend who turned sour towards him, later learning magic to best him in the future, which he did with flying colours. Meanwhile, in a different AU, he runs a Subway-like restaurant, Wichcraft.
After learning how to properly draw snakes, I decided to redesign Riggo, also known as Rigby in a human interpretation of him. While he is a python, he has a special prosthetic rattle that attaches to his tail, acting as a flail. The human Rigby has a bag of marbles instead.
