If theres a reason I talk about this a lot its because I hate the cynicism that is given to Iskandar's character. It means a lot to me because the journey that Iskandar and Waver go through in Zero adds perspective to the Fate route, they are both about dreams and regrets
That's the same place Artoria ends at in the ending of the Fate route. Its not a coincidence that Gilgamesh's last question to Iskandar is "Have you awakened from your dream?" and the Fate route ending is called "The Continuation of the Dream"
If you want to know why the Banquet in isolation is so one sided its that when you pit someone who has no regrets against someone who does, that peace one has with oneself to look back at their life and the mistakes they made and say they aren't regrets, its winning at life.
