White Zombie is a decent horror movie. Bela Lugosi and the cinematography are the best parts of this movie. The other actors are sort of forgettable to be honest. I only recommend it if you're a fan of the Universal Classic Monsters.

Lon Chaney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame and the Disney animated film are in a tie as my favorite versions of the Victor Hugo story.

Currently watching Kamen Rider Zero-One the Movie: Real×Time. As someone who watched Power Rangers as a kid (and I still do), I always enjoy watching these type of superhero shows.

I know it's cliche to say "Release The Director's Cut", but I want to see the original version of @ralphbakshi's Hey Good Lookin. Can someone at @KinoLorber or @Criterion make a deal with @WarnerArchive to release the original cut on 4K blu-ray?

I learned the transfer of The Satanic Rites of Dracula on the Midnight Movie Madness DVD set is the same one on Tubi, a low quality transfer with some film print damage. I see everything fine, but that film damage is a yikes.

I had a good Christmas week. I got many new blu-rays, my sister's pet cat visited me and went to my brother's house for Christmas dinner. Right now I'm enjoying my alone time and listeing to the Creepshow audio commentary.

I know Disney is super embarrassed about The Black Cauldron, but if there's one Disney animated film that should have a live action remake, that will be The Black Cauldron. It'll work great as a TV series on Disney Plus and maybe fix the many problems from the movie.
