@SethKearsley If you really want to go down the rabbit hole, The Black Cauldron and Cool World were technically the first, but the Black Cauldron was super edited to get a PG rating and Cool World is a live action animation hybrid, so they don't count.

@SethKearsley Beavis and Butt-Head Do America and Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker are the early two PG-13 American animated films. Mike Judge and Paul Dini were way ahead of you.
