and here's the capstone to the Gainax High that watching old Gunbuster clips has put me into.
I might just start trying to do old 80s/90s anime style more often... Like "all the time" often.

So I decided to scrap the Devil Trigger design and start over entirely, really taking my time with this one. A lot of the design elements are being borrowed from Gore Magala, as well as some of the unused Devil Trigger designs of 4 and Virgil's Sin Devil Trigger from 5

I have a color set based on Gore Magala since that's what a lot of the design inspiration came from, but I think Rein's base colors fit better, though it does look very similar to Dante's, ahaha.
