Our game is almost completely hand drawn. First I draw every asset on paper with pencil and ink it with liners. Then I scan everything and add colors, textures and effects in Photoshop. Here is my process of making a stylised steam engine.

Throwback Thursday again. Top picture is my original concept for Saloon interior in . Bottom one is from the game, we added a second staircase, the stage and a whole new left section. We only need to add a few NPCs and some aesthetics.

Little tease of our swamp level around Eastwood river in . It's full of rotten vegetation, with even more traps, abandoned ghost towns, somehow still working sawmill... And of course a river steam boat is a must.

I'm not gonna lie, we struggled with this particular level in for some time. It's inspired by civil war and it's going to be quite intense, pretty epic and full of battle action. Yet we still have to polish it a bit here and there.

I'm very proud of our hub town Driftwood in . It's a proper insect Wild West boomtown with all the mandatory cliché establishments. Also you can meet very strange characters here, chat a bit and maybe rest a while in your room.

Mines were originally a part of the Rusty Rocks level, but eventually they grew so big that we made a whole new level inside (not so) abandoned mines. It's a quite dark area with many claustrophobic corridors and some pretty nasty secrets.

Rusty Rocks was our very first area we ever made for and since then we changed it completely more than once. But the idea of the big mining operation in high red mountains is still the same. And I really like the color scheme here.

Sierra Hormiguero area in is a home of the last living shaman. I wanted it to look calm and mystical, with caves and watterfalls made of deserted anthills, with wall paintings and wind chimes, like it was once a home of an old nation.

Prologue level in is a hideout somewhere in the mountains. It's only the intro story level, so I wanted it to look positive, in the middle of the wild nature. There's a lot of light and bright green in contrast with the rest of the game.

Maybe a little Throwback Thursday would be a nice idea. I have a few ancient (more than 5 years old) concepts of some characters from even before we started working on the game. Compared to how they look now.
