In @blwbs we needed a flying enemy type able to hover in one place in the air, so I came up with the idea of the dragonfly bandits. And I thought it would be cool if they had Mare's Leg rifles.

Leeroy is a professional bounty hunter in @blwbs . He's a longhorn beetle and our direct reference to the actor Lee Van Cleef - the man with a look that means you're dead before you draw. Leeroy is amazingly voiced by @MictheMatt .

Sullivan is our first boss in @blwbs . Maybe old Sully isn't really that evil, but he's still a fat, treacherous, opportunistic and greedy parasite He's a flea after all. Sullivan is voiced with awesome fake irish accent by Tim Simmons.

I've been doing some generic spiny vegetation assets lately. So here's some cacti from our game @blwbs .

All of the characters in @blwbs are insects. But we needed something like wild animals so I came up with the idea of mites - little feral bloodthirsty bastards. And if you strap some explosives to them, you can use them for mining. We call them dyna-mites.

This was our absolute first prototype of the basic enemy in @blwbs . He's a housefly - so he's annoying and quick yet not very smart or accurate. We tweaked the design few times during development but he is still there.
