These drawings were a test run of doing heads and shoulders without any construction lines. These are straight inks, no sketch or construction.
I think I save time by just constructing loosely and THEN directly inking.
This is not my best render. I did it with a tiny bamboo on a hacked barely functional copy of CSP because I was on vacation and couldn't install my proper copy on my old, god forsaken tiny screen macbook.
I've been teeting out styles I'll likely use for comicking in the future because my old rendering was just unsustainable.
I have been practicing heads and brushing up on my Loomis. I think this line style works well with flatter and softer coloring that is less work.
Moar tiddies progress. I'm generally getting a lot better at constructing female torsos too, which is nice.
Trying to get better at drawing breasts and female bodies. I remember being intimidated by drawing tits when I started out because of how cringe inducingly badly most dudes tend to draw them.
