Was playing the arcade version of Pipe Dream/Pipe Mania earlier, and one thing I didn't remember is the second set of levels (the B course) being themed around an ill patient... and even less its continue screen.

Nothing screams Pipe Mania quite like a dying patient. lol

The Advance Wars remake announcement reminded me of the DS version of Theme Park, developed by EA Japan, where they had advisors designed by the Advance Wars character artist.

It also had this description for one of them that still amuses me a lot. lol

Relating to one of my earlier tweets... I now know that the site for GUN HEARTS, Idea Factory's cancelled Japanese release of shoddy PS2 beat-em-up Hidden Invasion, is in fact archived, and it's neato.

(on that note some of the backgrounds themselves are kinda amusing too, like one of the other ones for this tileset being of the Clintons, or one of the ones for the world events tileset being of the Hindenburg going down)

Or one tileset that's based around couples throughout history, where some of the animations include things like a Bonnie and Clyde pic riddled with bullets, or the one for Lady Di and Prince Charles ending with the heart-shaped pic being broken, it's amusing.
