Both Amherstia nobilis (Pride of Burma) and Amherst’s pheasant come from Burma and surroundings. The former now grown widely as an ornamental. Both were named after naturalist Sarah Amherst who lived in India. https://t.co/DZhVMWbhAF 1/n
