Happy Easter everyone!
(And remember to always watch your step around chickens and rabbits in the weeks around Easter. You never know when there might be another call to arms)

While citizens tried to go on with their lives as best their could, the casualties were still piling up. Children who weren’t sent to the country side were taught to hide in any makeshift bomb shelters they could find.
Of course it would be a lie to say the struggle was felt evenly. The wealthy always managed to find ways to maintain their luxurious lifestyles.
And though times were hard, everyone tried to find joy whenever and wherever possible. Weddings were still had, underground carnivals took place, and on occasion, small outdoor concerts would take place in the countryside.
As most supplies were diverted to the war effort, rationing began. Some resorted to cannibalistic egg thievery to survive. Knowing citizens were desperate, officers began patrolling around nurseries.
Here we see the first chicken/rabbit aviation regimen dropping their weaponized eggs on humans below.
Knowing they might not return home, soldiers bid farewell to their loved ones before leaving.
