Chickens reached out to rabbits in the hopes that they would find a sympathetic ally. An alliance was soon formed, and armies started to materialize. Chickens began laying weaponized eggs, which were color coded by ammo type.
It started with the chickens. Using whatever means they had at their disposal, be it by telephone, or by writing letters—they spread the word across Europe. It was a call to arms.
Every Easter, rabbits and chickens were subject to humiliation at the hands of humans. It was hard enough being eaten year round, but the seasonal stealing & destruction of eggs for pure enjoyment, being treated like playthings by human children, it tipped things over the edge.
