@FoxJMcCloud Here is a picture of them for comparison! Camille is intended to look a bit more Frankenstein. I know it's confusing, as it's still a lot of notes.
Doing progress the plot for Jean-Paul. It has harsh moments so depending on the prose, it may either go 16+ for death/gore mentions or 18+... However, the main focus will be the ascent of a young ambitious hare and the castle he built for his kin during a political crisis.
When your father said he'd come to your premiere but you're still waiting outside and the screening has started long ago.
I remember when Animal Crossing NH was so popular and I did the "make a villager meme". People gave me a smug orange horse with an elegant vibe. His name is Davenne and you probably guess why, as he's obsessed with collecting fossils in his room.
Today's scrapped drawing is a main character from a novel of mine, Ray. It was a full body, but the file got corrupted along with the colours so I never finished him. Have a cropped shot. I love this guy to bits.
Concept files are unearthed, I didn't recall doing a coloured headshot of Benjamin, so have him in semi-rendered glory. Badly blocked out the notes as always.
Since I can't draw, have old concept doodles of Camille and Benjamin without glasses. I like to think the Benjamin picture is some sort of cute art school yearbook thing before the war that happened in my story.
Jean-Paul wasn't born wealthy. His own father was laid off due to an economic crash. The young hare swore he would never become a slave to the system and thus learnt to manipulate his way up, sometimes degrading himself, but he secured a future for his kin. That was enough.
Jean-Paul holds the firm belief any kind of social connection is unfair, as one will give more than they will ever take, happily even. Yet as he stole a man's heart for his own gains, the social climbing hare felt more of a loser than his false lover ever was.
Speaking of workaholism, I had this old character inspired by the Papers Please game who became a metaphor for my own addiction to work. He was an unstable zealot who was made to work for a heartless system he hated, resorting to alcohol. He ended up joining the rebellion though.
