Regarding Castlevania again, certain versions of Richter Belmont's storyline involves Annette either turning into a vampire, or being straight-up possessed by Carmilla. I kinda want Powerhouse to pursue both, having Annette turn into a vampire FROM being possessed by Carmilla.
Really surprised that Powerhouse didn't just go with Ayami Kojima's design for Trevor Belmont from Curse of Darkness since that's what they did with Alucard from Symphony of the Night, but I'm still happy with their own look. They even included the scar to pay tribute, I love it.
@WorldOfTigra I actually would like that design to be recycled for another character, Kojima's Simon I mean. Could always simply be another Belmont or wholly different character. And she did do Symphony of the Night! This Succubus design, right? I'm not surprised, haha. That taste though. 👏
Damn, I honestly cannot decide between which design for Simon Belmont I like more. On one hand, the classic/retro look is kind of the default and immediately recognizable as Simon since it sticks everywhere. At the same time, Ayami Kojima's art style is God and her Simon is king.
Wait a minute. If Lydie Erlanger was turned into a vampire at the end of Harmony of Dissonance then does that mean she can be in the second Castlevania Netflix series as a potential ally to Richter? And if she and Juste did marry then would this make Richter a vampire?
So who was gonna tell me that Ayami Kojima, the self-taught artist who basically gave Castlevania its entire aesthetic, contributed to Magic The Gathering's Innistrad plane? This is literally all I can think about right now. When can Powerhouse do this animated series next, haha.
@buttshoveI We are! It's 300 years after Trevor, following his descendant, Richter. It's adapting the Rondo of Blood game if you wanna look further into it! Also being done by the same animation studio, so thankfully we're all covered there.
Characters that I want pretty unapologetically for Batman: Wayne Family Adventures as soon as possible.
@flwerwords There's also an official Twitter and a website! It's the backstory of Jinx and Vi before they become who they are in the game. Each episode will be 40 minutes long, and a bit on the adult side of things. It was supposed to release in 2020 but you know. 😭 Seriously cannot wait.
Yesterday my buddy who also loves Castlevania came across Bloodlines and wanted to know what it was about. We both had a trip finding out that it's set during World War I, and its sequel being World War II with the main character's son. Now we both want Powerhouse versions, haha.
