We thought we'd try our own hand at producing some imaginative illustrations.

We tried two prompts, "An illustration of a mysterious alien standing in a grand hall," and "An illustration of two sorcerers fighting"

These are the best of some overall great results 👽🧙🏼‍♂️

First up is the fantastic 'Illustration v2' effect model, trained by community member, Blademort. 👌🏽

It creates exceptionally expressive and beautiful pieces that feel hand-drawn, and wouldn't look out of place in a picture book /graphic novel. 🤩

Voila! The AI removed the floating gun part, but also did some extra 'paint-style' alterations to the horned background structures that added to the demonic and hellish landscape.

This was the winning ticket, so we clicked 'upscale' and got ourselves a shiny HD version of it.

The image is almost perfect, except that there is a random floating gun part in the foreground, which stops us from going ahead and using this for the final piece.

So let's try ‘gun’ in the negative prompt but with a high init strength of 0.5.

The next thing to do was to add some more elements to it without changing too much of the new creation, so we notched the init strength up to 0.7 and then added the prompt "hellish dark sky, realistic" to give it extra depth and quality.

Our standard renders still perform great, however, Prompt Magic enables higher prompt adherence and greater deviance from training data as a result of how we've incorporated it within our pipeline. ⚖️

While Prompt Magic is toggled on, Img2Img gets replaced by image prompts which function as an additional prompt weighted against the text prompt enabling further deviations and creativity than Img2Img.

These are great character inspirations, and can be created at an incredibly high speed - allowing for rapid ideation and world-building.

We feel this will unleash a wave of fresh creativity in game development, enabling smaller studios to compete on a more level playing field.

Prompting for this kind of thing is pretty interesting, because you can use a combination of positive and negative prompts to help steer the generation.

Aside from concept art terms, we added prompts like "variations, versions, iterations" to give more variety to the sheet.
