I think this is also spot on. Probably a test for Gen 6 (given how similar it is to this already-known G6 testing image) but it has both the chibi and more realistically proportioned models.

Maybe the lankier model was intended to test the XY Cutscenes?

- An animation for the aforementioned trainer has been uncovered. Mouth movement and animation seem a lot more competent than typical protagonists, suggesting they may not have been intended as one.

Given the model differences, it's clear to see that they prioritised dropping the chibi style really early on while still keeping a younger protagonist.

This character model doesn't look nearly as bulbous as the XY one, and isn't proportioned like the one XY uses for cutscenes.

- What appears to be a younger Red model has been found.
- Possibly an early placeholder for the protagonist, but it has a lot of work into it already.

Saying this because it seems to match the early concept art found in Sun & Moon's announcement trailer.
