I've been thinking about what might have been Inafune's biggest inspiration for designing Sigma for Mega Man X, and I'm pretty certain it was Lex Luthor. Being bald and cleft-chinned, which is often seen as a western genetic trait... I just can't shake the similarity.

I've been stuck on a crucial battle scene in my novel writing for over a month and I finally figured out how to resolve it! It's between these two characters:

HOLY... THIS IS 100% THE ANCESTOR OF CYRUS!!!

The precedent is already there, when they modeled Wimpod and Golisopod (modern horseshoe crab and cool bipedal form) after Kabuto and Kabutops (extant trilobyte and cool bipedal form)!
