St Simon's Church, Gloucester St., was consecrated on 1st March 1848. It was moved to Vincent St in 1866 due to Lime St Station expansion.
The foundation stone for Christ Church, Hunter Street, was laid on 27th February 1797. The church was instigated by John Houghton, brewer. Closed 1920.
