While thinking of something to do for my lovely mom, I remembered an old drawing I did for Mother’s Day and #MerMay in 2017. I thought it would be neat to redraw it for her!

“Of Ravens and Roses” tells the story of two adventurers, Grimsley, a firbolg servant of the goddess of death, and Aveline, a halfling druid of the goddess of the wilderness. Since they first met, they soon become inseparable while they travel from place to place.

This was also a Concept Development assignment I was hesitant to post, but I also learned a lot from this one. I hope to redo this piece soonish based on the critiques I was given!

For this Concept Development assignment, we had to design some kind of fantasy creature and an environment it would live in. I was inspired to create faeries that are all based on different forms of flora and fauna! I loved diving deep into research with this one!
