The references are the Chonrei ending from RB2 for his look, the sheet of sprites with planned characters for Garou 2 for Joe's apprentice, Mary is from Memories of Stray Wolves, Joe from the KoF 3D series.

@BigMex_1UP @SNKPofficial They have at least one 20-year old cliffhanger to solve - either as a new Garou or a KoF plot point, it's about time they address it.

@snk_oda I know it wasn't part of the Garou 2 plans, but I'd love to see the results of Chonrei training under Tung and Kim too - he's also part of a new Garou generation.

@SP_A_Bad_Idea @4thSnake Not to mention for SF there's thay whole business about Vega/Bison planning to use Cammy as a replacement body, while at the same time Rose apparently being a whole part of him he cast aside, yet still used as a temp body when he lost the one from the SFA series...
