I hate this design so much, I’m sorry.

These are all shots of CGI animals, but despite their high quality, the last one is less likely to fool people because they KNOW that you can't actually film a dinosaur. Please remember that when you're criticizing the CGI of fantasy creatures, there's already a bias in place.

People complain about the dinosaurs in Ice Age "not looking like real dinosaurs", and yet there never seems to be any criticism of modern-ish animals in the series.

It's almost like they're designed to be expressive characters, and the dinosaur community has an elitism problem.
