Looking at just the painted background (painted by another artist), you can see how the reflection works against the cityscape.

Isometric drawings are challenging for composition, more for planning and design.

But to help find a focal point, adjust the lighting. The original is very even in light.

More shadows push areas back, thus allowing light areas to stand out.
