I kind of like him with his absolute lack of detail and shading, go Riki give us nothing
Random thought but I just realised all of the odd numbered generations introduced mushroom Pokémon
I'm getting really nostalgic for the series I fell in love with as a teen
I've gotten emotional just thinking about these games today, like how I get emotional thinking about Pokémon or Super Mario Galaxy
I think this is just a constant once enough years have passed now,
I have no idea what Heroes is doing because I haven't played it in almost a year but you know what? This is great,, when I think of Fire Emblem pairings, Mia and Lucina is like, my first thought. I have mind of a master,, mind of a mastermind
then, we have my playthroughs of XY, ORAS, SM and SwSh! I do really like my first teams for each generation (although I have no idea why I decided to use DK the Simisear with XYs great dex)
Finished all of these Pokémon team sprite thingys I was making, I remeber a lot of my gen 5 playthroughs
In order, it's my first BW run, my most recent BW run, another BW run I liked, and my most recent BW2 run (with big Yoshi the Teetar)
I do love how all of my recent Pokémon playthroughs have involved me falling in love with a Grass type, and doing loads of doodles of them:
Turtup the Torterra,
Crimscrunch the Appletun,
Disconut the Maractus,
I have grown to love all three so much!
I think it would be real cool to see post-Gen 2 Pokémon on this style, but maybe it feels so special because it's only those originals. It definitely helps these early Pokémon stand out (like this cool Nidoking art)!
The watercolour style the earlier generation Pokémon official arts have is so good, I've always loved these versions, Sugimori really snapped with them!
