I do love how all of my recent Pokémon playthroughs have involved me falling in love with a Grass type, and doing loads of doodles of them:

Turtup the Torterra,
Crimscrunch the Appletun,
Disconut the Maractus,
I have grown to love all three so much!

I think it would be real cool to see post-Gen 2 Pokémon on this style, but maybe it feels so special because it's only those originals. It definitely helps these early Pokémon stand out (like this cool Nidoking art)!

The watercolour style the earlier generation Pokémon official arts have is so good, I've always loved these versions, Sugimori really snapped with them!

like would you trust a non-canon baby to give you surgery? a star? 3 frail chestnuts on top of each other? a LITERAL CORPSE?

Bonus: very quick from memory Kirby! This was just a warmup for the Beam Kirby but I like it enough to post as well.
