For anyone who may be curious about illustration my next illustration workshop at @YorkArtGallery is on Friday this week.

On Saturday the new exhibition at @YorkArtGallery will be opened by Lauren Child. I am really looking forward to seeing Marvellous and Mischievous and here are details of the workshops that I will be running to coincide with it.

With all the cherry blossom and the magnolia trees in flower it is looking wonderfully pink at the moment.

Andy Warhol started his career as a very successful illustrator and I have always loved his early work. This illustration of a shoe was undoubtedly influenced by his wonderful line drawings in ink.

This was one of my first digital illustrations and the message 'love today and every day' is apt for this weekend.
