The thing I liked most about Strain were the mechs that Ebikawa designed. Though there isn't much of them, They were visually appealing to me and the CGI fights actually looks really good for 2006.

They kinda give me some Orbital frame vibes with how they fight.

Esp if it involves these legends

I like the mechs in Soukou no Strain of what I've seen.

Pretty sure ebikawa did these, cause they remind me of his vandread designs in style with how colorful and alien like they are.

There isn't too many new robots introduced, but the ones that are there are really cool

Ark on is already Great just for being based on Ialdabaoth, who's one of my favorite SRW mechs, and having a human sized version of it kicks ass.

Most Galaxy brain thing about Cecil Harvey for me besides everything else is that his Dark Knight form mainly is basically Space KnightTekkaman, Because Yoshitaka Amano worked on both and kicks that much ass.

It's no wonder he's also my favorite FF protag.

Can’t get over how galaxy brain this Mecha Shredder design looks.
