I've been doing commissions for @scotchnate of some of his, and his players' DnD Characters and I've been having a blast.

Here He Is. I've been sitting on this preview. It's for @tusklovezine, a pinup zine full of fantasy men of all sorts...Including this tattooed nerd who tends to be a complete brat.

He's got his moments though (and a very patient bf who tolerates him).

Got some color studies in progress for this man.

This is my feel-good-and-relax piece that also serves as motivation. It's my reward that I allow myself to work on after I've made sufficient progress on other projects.

I messed around for like an hour or so last night at @DCMcNaughton 's desk and this elf man is the result.

Using a different tablet setup+brushes+settings feels like driving someone else's car without adjusting the mirrors.

I've got the Rankin/Bass Hobbit playing this morning while I work and golly those beautiful watercolor backgrounds really have a bit of an Arthur Rackham feel don't they.

(Things I couldn't fully appreciate til now despite how many times I watched as a kid)
