An extra 15 minutes today. Rendering the armor is gonna be a nightmare that I will enjoy. Because for some reason, those tedious bits just put me in a relaxed trance.
The urge to erase and start from scratch is the death wish of the artistic process. Keep going, mistakes and all. The wonderful thing about digital is that no mistake is truly final.
I finished laying down the flat base colors. Wish me luck, not success. Because luck is for people who have no idea what they're doing.
I'm so f***ing stubborn that I dusted off this drawing and am going to ATTEMPT to paint it because it really bugs me having it sitting there incomplete.
@Mister_Walsh This is me. My eyebags are literally that God-level. It only took high school to make them that way.
Will I ever actually finish this painting? Will I ever overcome impostor syndrome? Will my dedication overpower my frustration? Will this piece even turn out well? Will my dad stop yelling at the dogs for pooping?
Find out on the next exciting episode of DragonBall Z!!!
On one hand, I love low quality reference images cause the color distortions make my version more interesting. On the other hand AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *flips table*
I think the thing that's off is that the white in the eyes is too noticeable. Gonna try desaturating it.

As an example of how slow I am at making art, this canvas was created on May 7th of this year.

@heresvix This one took me months of hard procrastination. I like that I'm visibly getting better at capturing likenesses.
