I Still Know What You Did Last Summer
⭐⭐⭐¾
I don't care what people think, I've got my slicker & my @MuseWatson hook & I'm here to defend this sequel. They upped the budget, the babes & the gore. Exotic locale, super cast & a baldbare plot w/a twist we all saw coming. Love it.
IT: Chapter Two
⭐⭐⭐ (barely)
#StephenKing's best-selling #horror novel gets one of the worst modern movie adaptations I've seen. I will say I liked somethings but #AndyMuschietti's strongest aspect as director is not the horror element; but the drama & character development
I Live in Fear
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Topical and timely subject that deals with fear and uncertainty; and how that fear propels your thoughts and actions - albeit, under different circumstances. Another powerful and deeply moving #Mifune / #AkiraKurosawa collaboration.

A Return to Salem's Lot
⭐⭐½
Kicking off my #KingInQuarantine by scraping the bottom of the barrel. The great #LarryCohen only got his fangs into 1 #StephenKing adaption (of sorts) & unfortunately it's pretty bad. But like w/ most #horror films, there's always something to enjoy
The Jayne Mansfield Story
⭐⭐⭐
In the 90s I ordered this from a collector's club to finish my #Schwarzenegger collection. It's probably his least known film, a TV movie from 1980, alongside Loni Anderson. You'd be forgiven for thinking it's terrible, but you'd also be wrong.
