@Ambris_Art Or you could focus on mounts that aren't even creatures or creature like, things like flying carpets, magic brooms or floating discs.
Warhammer Fantasy does pretty much all the things I've mentioned.
@frogfruitart @Zibe_ I bet you'll soar past that follower goal in no time.
@RobotMaximus @PowerfulHag Now that you mention it, I guess that explains the Lfrith's colours.
@estoyreeelocoo @weirdtwinkie @TokuReset @Manchipsthe3rd Robots that aren't robots causing the apocalypse ain't that unique is the thing. A lot of mecha (and mecha adjacent) series before Eva have done it.
@RaptorGamma @Microsoft @Halo And the root inspiration for the riot cops in Jin-Roh is probably the venerable old Zaku, from Gundam.
@VirgilFaust @NRX004_Murasame A yes, mechs simply never have a will of their own. Doesn't happen. Totally unheared of in the genre. Certainly none that have absorbed a pilot's loved one.
@A_BrownRecluse Right and to follow this up.
Getter 1 is all about brute force, and in many of its versions can assimilate machines, it's pilots are usually quick to anger dumbasses.
Getter 2 is all about speed and surgical precision, it's pilots are usually aloof schemers.
